Then you'll want to pick up a copy of the forthcoming Gorillaz autobiography, which reveals the real story of the world's most famous cartoon band.

The hardback book will be illustrated in full color and promises to include "new and unseen material" written by all four members of the Gorillaz: Murdoc, Noodle, 2D and Russel Hobbs.

According to the Gorillaz official fan site, Penguin Books plans to publish the autobiography in the UK this October. It will also be published in America on Penguin's Riverhead imprint.

In an official statement, Gorillaz bass-slayer Murdoc Nicalls expressed his enthusiasm for the project. "I can guarantee you're going to get some real juicy bits of Gorillaz info. I'll probably slag off loads of people, too," said Murdoc.

Murdoc adds, "It'll be packed full of great shots from the sets of our videos, gigs, rehearsals, interviews...you name it. It's all in there. So place your order up front kids, this book's going to be a scorcher!"
