Foos to begin tour rehearsals later this month.
LOS ANGELES, CA [Wednesday Apr.12.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- The Foo Fighters are taking a break at the moment, as Dave Grohl and his wife await the birth of their first child.
But after the baby's born, it will be back to music for the Foo Fighter frontman and his band, who are planning an acoustic tour to showcase some songs from their latest album "In Your Honor."
Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins told RollingStone.com that rehearsals for the acoustic outing will begin towards the end of April, after Hawkins finishes touring with his own band,
the Coattail Riders. The group's self-titled debut is in stores now.
When the Foo Fighters hit the road, they'll be taking a few guest musicians with them, including pianist Rami Jaffee of the Wallflowers, percussionist Drew Hester, and violinist Petra Haden, who recently wed actor and musician Jack Black.
No acoustic tour dates have been announced yet, so keep checking
