Death Cab For Cutie offers "Directions," an innovative anthology of 11 short films for every song from the band's acclaimed album "Plans." Each clip was made by a different director, and the DVD includes two bonus videos of unreleased songs.
In CD news,
Daniel Powter's self-titled album arrives today and features the Canadian singer-songwriter's breakthrough single, "Bad Day." The 10-track set also includes the songs "Suspect," "Free Loop," and "Lie To Me."
Also in stores this Tuesday, April 11th, is "Garden Ruin" from Arizona band
Calexico. The latest album from this cult-favorite is said to be the group's "poppiest" album to date and could secure Calexico a wider audience.
