Fall Out Boy Plays Past Curfew
Fall Out Boy fined $15,000 for playing past curfew in TX.

by Krista Desens

Fall Out Boy
HOUSTON, TX  [Friday Mar.31.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Fall Out Boy recently had to fork over $15,000 to the Texas authorities when the band played past curfew during a stop on the "Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour."

But Fall Out Boy says the price was worth it to entertain their fans.

"Texas is always amazing. All the rumors about it are true and the shows are insane," writes bassist Pete Wentz in a journal post on the band's web site. "Austin police threatened to arrest us, and we were fined $15,000 dollars for playing Saturday past curfew. Definitely worth it," he adds.

Fall Out Boy's Texas shows included stops in Grand Prairie on March 24th, Houston on March 25th, and Austin on Sunday, March 26th.

Fall Out Boy's "Black Clouds And Underdogs" North American arena tour with special guests Hawthorne Heights and the All-American Rejects continues through May 15th, when the bands play Chicago's UIC Pavillion. For a complete list of tour dates, visit www.falloutboyrock.com.
